Leonne.vlbennett@gmail.com

I'm Leonne Victoria, a second-year MEng Mechanical Engineering student with a deep interest in both the Aerospace and Automotive sectors. From serving as Lead CAD Designer and co-project manager for university design challenges to building custom applications in C, spending my mornings in the gym and my travels climbing mountains; I thrive at the intersection of academics, personal development, and activity.

Looking ahead, my goal is to launch a dynamic career as an Aerospace or Automotive Engineer, designing innovative products that make a tangible impact—whether that means advancing human mobility, helping communities, or safeguarding the environment through sustainable engineering solutions. I am committed to continuous learning, sharpening both my computational and mechanical design skills to grow into the best engineer I can be. Ultimately, I aim to combine this professional ambition with a well-rounded, enriched life built on strong relationships, active community involvement, and a genuine passion for continuous discovery.

I thrive on physical activities that build resilience and endurance. Staying active through weight training & outdoor hiking helps keep me grounded, disciplined, and physically ready & confident to face lifes challenges.

I'm passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators. Through STEM Ambassadors, I am able to deliver hands-on workshops & talks to students across the UK, encouraging young learners to pursue technical paths.

I am an active member of the University of Birmingham's Formula Student team (Aerodynamics department); collaborating with a team of student engineers & applying my engineering knowledge to real-world automotive challenges.

Alongside my studies, I have worked as both a Learning & Play Leader, and a Maths & English Tutor; honing my adaptability, leadership, and communication skills and allowing me to contribute further to young learners' development.
